Our mission and impact

Hope grows when a community gives together.

Giving Trees for Life, Inc. brings people together through joyful events that support cancer prevention, research and compassionate care.

Our story

From one holiday fundraiser to a year-round mission.

The Festival began in 1998 under the leadership of Sue Hapgood. That first gathering raised $8,000 for two organizations. In 2004, support expanded to include the Cancer Center at Harrington.

Today, the Festival is a cherished four-day tradition featuring more than 100 decorated trees, along with community events throughout the year. Volunteers make it all possible.
